Enactivism and Material Culture: How Enactivism Could Redefine Enculturation Processes

Culture has traditionally been considered as a set of knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, norms, and morals, acquired by human being member group. Some anthropologists interpret this abstract representations, such information or while others it behavioral control mechanisms. These views assume that the contents particular culture must be processed minds individuals, either in direct way resorting to learned mental structures processes symbolic socialization. critics suggest problem with these perspectives since they do not provide convincing explanation enculturation process beyond metaphorical images transfer internalization cultural through linguistic transmission. The new embodied theories cognition, especially enactivism, could give ideas about what are like, concept participatory sense-making material environments. In essay, we discuss how an enactive vision be, advantages would have, well challenges weaknesses explaining its learning processes.
